Join us every Wednesday night from 7 to 9
at the Open Mind Bookstore for our wonderful Healing Circle.
The Healing Circle is open to those who have been attuned to Reiki, to those who
use other healing modalities, or to those who really feel a need to receive
healing energies from warm caring people.
This is a wonderful way to practice your Reiki and experience different peoples'
energies. By coming weekly, you will begin to tune into the experience and
become much more comfortable as a healer. You will also be around "like minded"
people who have a lot of interesting information to share. What a way to grow in
your awareness!
The Healing Circles are lead by Lisa McCormack who is here the 2nd and 4th Wednesday
and by Deborah Donoghue who is here the 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Each week Lisa and
Deborah have everyone share words with the group, followed by a Guided
Meditation and then you break down into groups to share healing energy with each
other. This is such a wonderful way to practice as well as relax and enjoy a
treatment yourself!

Practices for Prosperity and

For better or for worse, autumn
brings not only colder weather and shorter days, but also the promise of winter
and the holidays. For some, this is a happy time, full of excitement and
possibility. For others, it is a time of overwhelm as everything seems to come
to a head at once and we struggle as we are pushed forward by events rather than
making our reality joyfully and easily..
Regardless of how the season feels for you, staying in touch with your inner
sense of joy and purpose can be vital. If you’re already riding high, it can
take you higher, farther, and faster forward. If you’re feeling frustrated or
overwhelmed, it can bring you back to a sense of centeredness and peace.
Beyond tasks and projects, the holidays are also a time of re-connecting with
family and old friends. Hopefully, this is a joyous prospect for you.
Unfortunately, for many, it is not. One man always had to “detox” for several
weeks after visiting his parents for just a weekend.
There is also the true story of a young woman who decided to spend a long
holiday weekend with her family for the first time in several years. She had
been avoiding the whole clan because of all of the arguments and frustration
that always happened.
Fortunately, she’d done a lot of work to release old arguments and anger and was
able to join them with genuine love and appreciation. She had a wonderful time
with her family and noticed that not only did she not have any fights, no one
else did, either.
Join us for a gentle introduction to the Law of Attraction and other success
principles, including more advanced techniques for recognizing and releasing old
patterns, expectations, frustration, and anger. Once these things are fully
released, you don’t have to deal with them the same way ever again. If they do
return as echoes, they are easily recognized and released, making room for more
joyful creations.
As a regular practice, these techniques can help you to move forward quickly and
gracefully, resolving “stuck” areas or patterns that may have persisted for
years or even decades.
In this class, we will:
• Review the basic principles of the Law of Attraction and consider how the same
principles are reflected in other traditions, some very ancient.
• Examine the relationship of the concepts of karma and of receiving.
• Practice practical, effective tools for recognizing and releasing old patterns
and expectations (karma).
